Personal advising sessions
You have questions or feel clueless when you think about studying? Stop by the Academic Advising Service without an appointment during our office hours to discuss all topics related to your studies. We’re here for you from before you’re accepted for studies throughout your entire time here and offer support in planning the next step on your way.
When getting initial information...
discuss your questions briefly with our student staff, who are happy to give you answers and contacts.
At our information center...
you can find a lot of information on the TU Berlin’s degree programs, the structure and contents, and career opportunities.
In individual advising sessions...
you can discuss questions that haven’t been answered with a counselor. We help you to reflect on your situation, clarify questions, and find suitable solutions.
It’s possible to stop by without an appointment; our office hours are listed in the right-hand column. We’ll usually be able to offer you an individual appointment. If there are many others looking for advice during office hours, however, you might need to wait or we could ask you to come back another day.
Parents with small children and pregnant women do not need to wait. Students with disabilities or chronic illnesses should also contact our staff members directly at the initial information point.
