Emergency Plan

Social-psychiatric services in the districts

The employees in the social-psychiatric services (physicians, social workers, psychologists) offer help and support for adults with a psychological illness, addiction, or mental disability. Counseling, referrals, and crisis intervention are offered in each of the centers or in house visits for those affected, their friends and family, and for their social environment.  In case of an emergency, contact the center in your district.

Office hours:
Monday to Friday from 8 am - 4 pm




Berlin Crisis Service (Berliner Krisendienst)

All across Berlin, the nine locations of the Berlin Crisis Service are open daily. People looking for help can receive support by telephone or in person in one of the centers. It is not necessary to make an appointment, the help is free of charge and, if you want, it is also anonymous.

Opening hours:
daily from 4 pm to midnight

On-call hours for the Berlin Crisis Service
Daily from midnight to 8 am and on weekends and holidays

The on-call night service can be reached with any of the Berlin Crisis Center phone numbers (your call will be automatically forwarded after midnight).





If you feel that you can’t make it on your own and need in-patient help. In case of an emergency, contact the hospital in your district.

Therapy offers are directed at young adults, especially those experiencing their first psychological crisis but also with depression and bipolar disorders or substance-induced and schizophrenic disorders.
