Status of your admission - What applicants need to know

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, application deadlines were postponed this year. As a result, many admission and enrollment procedures cannot be completed until the end of November. We are aware that you are anxiously waiting for a reply and we are working to process all applications and inform you as quickly as possible. Please read the current information from the Office of Student Affairs to get to know more details.

Open Video Office Hours

Tuesdays 10 - 12 h

Thursdays 14 - 16 h

Sign in to the TU Zoom meeting room using this link. We will individually invite you to a preliminary meeting room from this online waiting room. In the preliminary room, you will be greeted by a moderator who will briefly discuss your concern with you before sending you to a further room to speak with an academic advisor if needed.

There may be short waiting times in case of high demand, both in the waiting room and in the preliminary room. We will do our best to keep the waiting time as short as possible. Additionally: Our cameras will be on as we believe this creates a good foundation for a successful advising session. We invite you to do the same. However, we understand if you prefer not to use your camera.

You can send your inquiry via email. (Please refer to the contact information in the service box on the right). We will arrange a phone appointment if needed. You can speed this up by letting us know your phone number, when we can reach you best and your question and / or (desired) degree program.

The availability of Psychological Counseling, of the Guidance for Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illnesses and the Schulbüro remains unchanged. (Please also refer to the contact information in the service box on the right).

Do you have specific questions about your (desired) degree program? Course Guidance or your faculty/academic chair’s representative committee can help! Just like us, they can be contacted by email or phone.

“First Aid”: Tips for your time at home
As psychologists and academic advisors, we have endeavored to take a look at the situation in the coming weeks. We’ve collected tips and ideas and put together some web pages with recommendations for everyday life at home.

Please write to us if you have any ideas that are worth adding to the list and could help your fellow students.
