Guidance in the Faculties

Course Guidance

If you want to be as informed as possible about the subject you have chosen, you should get the most important information from “your” course guidance. Especially at the start of the semester when you’re having difficulty with your schedule, taking advantage of the service can be very helpful. The course guidance will inform you about how your program is organised, the contents of the program, curricula, elective possibilities, examinations, about individual courses, etc.

>> On the overview pages for the degree programs, you will find links to the guidance offices for degree program and additional information from your faculty, e.g. student guides, study and examination regulations, or module catalogs.

Examination Committees

The chairs of the examination committees are in particular responsible for organizing examinations, approving compensation for disadvantages for disabled students, and recognizing periods of study and coursework and examinations.

Internship Representatives

The Internship Offices (Internship Representatives) are responsible for all questions related to internships. They decide whether the internship you completed will be recognized.

Studies and Teaching Unit

In almost all TU faculties there is a Studies and Teaching Unit. This is the point of contact for students and instructors if they have organizational and content problems in teaching and studying. Other tasks are to develop and implement measures to improve studying conditions and the quality of teaching.
