Further Study Options
These programs are aimed at individuals interested in university-level studies who are already active in a profession or who have ended their employment. Generally, these programs do not lead to an academic degree.
Berlin Model: Training for Post-Career Activities (BANA)
Continuing education; degree: certificate, 4 semesters
Prerequisites: vocational qualification or university entrance qualification, e.g. German „Abitur“; ten years of professional experience (including educational work at home in the family) and a minimum age of 45 years.
The number of participants is limited; a guest auditor fee of 60.00 euros per semester must be paid.

HTA Online (Health Technology Assessment)
Continuing education, Blended learning course (face-to-face and online learning); degree: certificate, 5 months
Prerequisites: the course is aimed at interested individuals and professionals in the German health sector, although special technical knowledge is not a prerequisite. Knowledge of the German language is required.
The number of participants is limited (20). Begin of studies 25th of August; course fee.

Food Chemistry
Supplementary studies; degree: German “Diplom” (1st degree) as a food chemist, 2 semesters
Prerequisites: successful completion of the Main Examination (Part A) of the State Examination in the Degree Program Food Chemistry
