If you have had to flee your country of residence and are looking to start a degree at TU Berlin or else resume your studies here, Academic Advising can help with the many questions you probably have. We offer advising on a whole range of topics including:

  • Identifying your strengths and finding out about the programs on offer
  • Choosing the right degree program
  • Getting your degrees and study achievements recognized
  • Pathways towards Higher Education
  • Admission requirements
  • Studying as a guest student
  • Preparing to study

Working with you, we will develop a plan for starting or resuming your studies at TU Berlin, help you find the right contact person to answer your specific questions about a degree program, and guide you on your way to studying here at the University.

In addition to our offers, advising is also available from Psychological Counseling [1] as well as Guidance for students with disabilities and chronic diseases. [2]

We offer advising in German and English as well as other languages as needed.

You can reach us without an appointment during our open office hours [3] (via Zoom). We also offer individual appointments via telephone or Zoom. To make an appointment, please send an email to in2(at)tu-berlin.de [4]. We look forward to welcoming you!
