Stays Abroad during your Studies

As a student at TU Berlin there are two major ways to spend time abroad during your studies: studying at a foreign university or doing an internship at international companies or organizations.
Studying Abroad
If you want to spend part of your studies at a foreign university, you need to plan ahead. Start your preparations at least one year in advance. The best time to go during a bachelor's degree program is after you completed a minimum of 2 semesters. Basic information on studying at universities inside as well as outside Europe is available at the Infothek of the International Office in the Campus Center [2].
International Internships
Here, too, start early with your preparations, especially if you would like to apply for a stipend. Our Career Service [3] offers information on international internships in general and means of funding in particular.
